St Cloud is a family run business and we take pride in creating a caring and friendly environment. Throughout our Homes we retain highly dedicated staff who are focused on delivering the highest standards of care.

A simple evaluation we have applied over the years:

“Is that good enough for our Mum?”

Our aim is to provide a comfortable and safe environment where you can live and not just exist!

Our Philosophy-

 1. To provide a superior standard of care in secure, relaxing and homely surroundings.

 2. Provide privacy, dignity, choice and encourage independence.

 3. To support and maintain a person centred care environment and promote self-esteem.

All our Homes are led by experienced nurse qualified Managers and each Manager has established a close- knit Team who provide a resident orientated, needs led service. We support around 300 residents and each one has an individual care plan, tailored specifically to meet each resident's preferences and needs. This covers everything from personal background to social pastimes, medication needs and all other aspects of resident care. These plans are frequently re-evaluated so you can live life to the best of your potential with peace of mind.

Here at St Cloud our residents are supported by In-House Activities Co-ordinators who have continuous contact with family and friends, encouraging them to engage in our activities and events. Our residents enjoy and contribute in numerous activities, from day trips to gentle keep fit. We organise regular entertainment and music in the form of a sing- along to live entertainers and easy listening afternoons. Our cinema room is always a very welcome afternoon of relaxation and social interaction.

St Cloud is renowned for summer fetes and BBQ'S  where we rally the local community! Many of our events are supported by our local residents and any funds raised are used for resident outings or donated to a local charity. The residents and staff at Sandalwood recently held a 'car wash' and donated all funds to Macmillan Cancer support.

We encourage our residents to continue enjoying any hobbies and interests they followed before they joined us. Whilst we are keen to provide a wealth of optional activities, participation is a matter of personal choice, never an obligation or routine unless you make it so.

We recognise choosing residential and nursing care is a major lifestyle decision. Our Care Home Managers will be delighted to answer any questions you may have. Our Operations Manager, Geraldine Smith, oversees the management and smooth running of all our Homes, supporting each Manager in delivering the highest standards of care. Geraldine has an entire working career in the Healthcare Sector, ranging from administration roles, through to the managing of all aspects within a successful Nursing Home.

Should you wish to speak to Geraldine or any of the Home Managers then please do not hesitate to contact us at any time or please feel free to visit the Home you are interested in.
