Working With St Cloud Care

At St Cloud Care we create an environment that’s welcoming, open and friendly. The quality of our employees is what sets us apart in delivering excellence. As you look after older people, we in turn will look after you.

It takes a special kind of person to care. We believe a good carer is a person who wants to make a difference in someone else’s life and not just earn a living.  All our staff share the same aspiration and that is to deliver the highest standard of care imaginable.

If you are friendly, reliable, calm, sensitive and want to make a difference then please read on.

Great care is taken when recruiting in all of our establishments.  We carefully select our staff for their friendly, professional and caring attitudes.  At induction you are educated in providing a competent, high quality and caring service which we are happy to associate with the St Cloud name. We coach our staff to a very high specification with continuous training and refresher courses. Constant ‘spot checks’ are a regular feature, performed by our Managers to help maintain a first class service.

St Cloud will also offer pay progression through an active programme of NVQ’s in Health and Social Care. E-Learning in longdistance courses are also available in various subjects to enhance the employees knowledge in specified areas.

Equal Opportunities
We are committed to equal opportunities and considers applications solely on the basis of merit – regardless of age, gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, number of dependents or any other irrelevant factor.

Recruitment Checks
All applicants are subject to background checking during the recruitment process, particularly when the role for which the application is being submitted involves unsupervised access to vulnerable adults. This involves the use of official registers (e.g. Discloure and Barring Service DBS), reference taking, checking of qualifications, checking of employment gaps and appropriate interview questioning.

If you would like to consider a career in a caring profession with a small, closely knit team where your suggestions and talents will be appreciated, please contact the relevant Home Manager by telephone or email. Previous experience preferred but not essential as training is given.
